人其实是很奇怪的动物，我们在国内，见到来中国的外国人很是兴奋，都想往外国人身边去凑热闹，和他们聊天，然后锻炼自己的口语和听力能力。可是出了国后，见到的都是和自己不同肤色、不同种族的人，看多了外国人的身影后心中居然不知为何生出了抵抗之情，反而更怀念中国人的身影，觉得还是中国人的身形面孔好看。

While in the US, Gu Xiang preferred to spend time with Chinese students and enjoyed interacting with her fellow Chinese. Even while working at a five-star hotel, she felt the same connection and enjoyed chatting with Chinese staff.
